Total Command Sold for $500,000 at the Keeneland 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale to Robert and Beverly Lewis and trainer D. Wayne Lukas

Total Command is by leading sire and emerging sire of sires Forestry, stakes winner of 7 races, $591,225. Total Command is out of a blue hen Affirmed mare who has produced G2 winner Regal Sanction (c, by Regal Classic) winner of $458,158, and G3 winner Nonies Dancer Ali (f, by Danzatore) winner of $165,350. Northern Sanction was out of Gay Northerner who was a black type winner and was the Dam of 12 foals to race, with 11 winners and several of them black type winners. This is a strong female family.

Total Command was the winner of 7 races in only 23 lifetime starts with earnings of $122,565. He hit the board 12 of those 23 starts and won at 5 ½ furlongs at LAD in 1:03 4/5.

Total Command’s first year of stud was in 2008 and he has been in Texas since. He was privately owned and bred to a limited number of mares for the first few years. His first foals are yearlings and the confirmation and body on them are outstanding. This was one of the main reasons for our partnership to purchase him. The looks of his foals along with his outstanding pedigree show signs of a true stallion and we wanted to keep him in Texas and open him up to the public. He will stand at Double S Thoroughbreds in Poynor, TX under the care of Pete Sackett.
